Mister Micawbers Cottage Doors are experts in manufacturing bespoke wardrobe doors. Our Raised and Fielded wardrobe doors are over 1.2m high, alongside 70mm wide and 27mm thick frame. We believe that we offer one of the best value and quality products in the market, and this is backed up by our endless positive client feedback. We have a wide choice of door styles to choose from as well as sanded, ready to stain or paint, or with an antique pine stain and with wax polish finish.
Mister Micawbers Cottage Doors has earned its name for excellence with products such as our bespoke wardrobe doors.
Our design team will work alongside you to ensure that we fulfil your exact specifications and requirements no matter how specific they are. Some of the wardrobe door styles we offer include:
We source real pine from managed forests and manufacture customised doors for our customers. Wherever you are, we can assist you, serving the UK and Europe.
The maximum size door we make is normally 2000mm high. We recommend that doors larger than 1200mm high are made in a 27mm thick frame as this reduces significantly the possibility of “warp”.
Taking your measurements
When measuring for bespoke wardrobe doors, do not assume that everything will be square, as the saying goes “measure twice and cut once!”
The two sizes to take are the inside width of your door opening (measured in millimetres, excluding architraves) and the overall height. If the wardrobe is in situ then use a tape measure to measure between both sides of the side pillars on either side of the wardrobe.
