Mister Micawbers Cottage Doors offers Raised and Fielded cupboard doors for sale. The doors are made from a frame of grade A pine, usually 70mm wide and 22 mm thick. The frame contains scribe and profile joints. We therefore glue them and join it together before they are sanded, as the joint has a greater strength than the wood itself. The inner part of the frame also has a 6mm groove to coincide with the raised and fielded panel. The panels are cut to the required size and due to their profiling nature, they combine with the frame to add that extra durability to the door. The doors are then individually assembled and shaped to square.
