Pine Raised and Fielded Doors, Built to Last
Our pine Raised and Fielded doors are made from Grade A pine, sourced from managed forests. The frame is 70mm wide and 22mm thick, jointed using scribe and profile joints that are glued and assembled before sanding, giving the frame more strength than the timber alone. The inner edge of the frame has a 6mm groove, into which the raised and fielded centre panel is fitted; the panel's bevelled edges taper down to meet the groove, and this profiling adds extra strength as well as its distinctive look.
The result is a solid, well-built door with the natural grain and warmth of real wood, not a veneer or MDF substitute. Doors are supplied sanded and ready for you to stain or paint in whatever finish suits your kitchen or bedroom.
