The frame is 70mm wide and 22mm thick, jointed using scribe and profile joints that are glued and assembled before sanding, giving the frame more strength than the timber alone. The recessed centre panel is built from individual lengths of pine, 12mm thick and 50mm wide, cut and assembled to size.
The result is a solid, well-built door with the natural grain and warmth of real wood, not a veneer or MDF substitute. Doors are supplied sanded and ready for you to stain or paint in whatever finish suits your kitchen or bedroom.
